these walls that they put up to hold us back will fall down
I decided to make this for challenge 6 at
picspammy, and plus it was a fun end-of-year thing to do!

movies;

I love romantic comedies, and this was definitely one of the good ones.
It was really cute. I had forgotten how much I love James Marsden, he is really adorable. And it was nice to
watch something where I wasn't hatin' on Katie Heigl's character (stupid GA!) because I really love her.

I had a few issues with the movie because I was comparing it to the books, but as a whole it was pretty good
and a definite improvement from the first movie. I loved all four girls and it was a cute movie.

A really good movie, if you haven't seen it, you should. It was an interesting storyline, it kept you guessing,
and there were some good twists!

I really, really loved this movie! The cast was great, the storylines were interesting and not always predictable
which was nice. You really felt connected to the characters, and if that's not enough of a reason to watch,
it has Jensen Ackles in it! And he is adorable, funny and amazing in it, so you must go and watch it NOW!!

It was definitely my favourite summer movie. It was a fun, light-hearted movie and the soundtrack is great. Plus,
Amanda Seyfried is absolutely adorable in it, and Dominic Cooper is so cute. I completely fell in love with Sophie/Sky,
I just wished there had been more of them in the movie!
book;

No, you're not mistaken, this is in fact the only book on my list. Why? Well because I'm lazy and this and New Moon
are the only books I've read this year. Shameful, I know! But even so, I had to put this on the list because it is an
absolutely amazing book and if you haven't read it yet, you really should. I read it in 2 1/2 days (which is extremely fast for me!)
and I loved every second of it. Oh, and the fact that they have made it into a movie is a real bonus (I heard it was meant to come out
in December but I guess that's not true?) It is funny, sad, tragic, beautiful - just read it!
t.v shows;

Supernatural, first with the addition of Ruby and now Castiel, this show just keeps getting better. Jensen has done
an amazing job with the whole going to hell storyline while Jared does a great job portraying Sam's struggle with his powers. With funny eps like
Yellow Fever in the mix, the show hasn't lost sight of all the reasons it's awesome!
Brothers & Sisters is one of the best shows out there, and this season has been fantastic. The way they are dealing with the
couples on the show has been great and of course the Walker family drama is funnier and better than ever.

Prison Break is back with a bang this year. Season 4 has especially gone back to the reasons why this show is
so awesome in the first place. All of the best characters are back together (mainly Michael, Sucre, Linc & Mahone),
working as a team and kicking ass. The addition of Don Self, and bringing back Sara Tancredi (her re-addition makes
me more happy for Michael than actually having her back) have only helped this season become almost season 1
standard of brilliant. Good job writers of making me remember why I love this show so much.

I started watching Chuck this year during the writer's strike, and it quickly became one of my fav shows. It's the type
of show that's fun to watch and can never really be a disappointment because you don't need to take it so seriously.
So many awesome characters on the show like Chuck & Casey, and then there's Chuck & Sarah, who you really can't help but root for.
I have also thoroughly enjoyed the short guest appearances of Bryce Larkin, making that triangle oh so complicated but fun to watch.
The back storylines whether it be about the guys at the BuyMore or Ellie & Devon are always as much fun to watch as whatever
Chuck/Sarah/Casey are up to, so the entire episode ends up being quite entertaining.

Another show I started watching during the strike, The Sarah Connor Chronicles is by far one of the best action shows out there.
It's intense, it's funny and you really grow to love each and every character. Plus, the relationship between Cameron & John is probably
the most complicated one you could ever watch, you're rooting for them to get together even if she is a robot (which I guess is the
complicated part). Summer Glau is an amazing actress and makes the character of Cameron so love-able. And then there's the addition of
Brian Austin Green making up the core four. They are the most dysfunctional family on tv, each of them kick ass and
I love every bit of the action.

I caught up with the first three seasons of How I Met Your Mother mainly because my flist was always ranting and raving about it.
I'm sure glad I did though, because it's one of those shows that everyone must watch! The best comedy since Friends, you can't help but
love every character and every friendship on the show. Barney is by far the best comedic character out there, but every character has
something about them where you just can't help but love them (even Ted, and his pronunciation of douchey!) Then there's the
awesome ships on the show, Marshal & Lily who have always been like an awesome old married couple and then there's Barney & Robin,
who well frankly make an awesome pairing and are pretty much perfect for each other.

The newest show of 2008, so how did it become #1? Well, just because Merlin is that awesome!
The characters are so amazing, you can pretty much ship anyone with anyone, the storylines kick ass and the locations,
costumes & coloring couldn't be prettier. I'm not usually one to be a slash!shipper but the chemistry between
Arthur & Merlin is undeniable and even if you don't ship them (omg, why not??) you can't deny the amazing and beautiful
friendship/bond they have. If you're not watching this show, you need to be, like NOW!
ships;

I only started watching Greek this year (yet another show that came out of the writer's strike). Although short-lived,
they were a big ship of 2008 for me. I thought these two were adorable together.

I shipped these two from the start, but never thought anything would happen for obvious reasons. But then they so went there
(their chemistry is obvious even to the writers) and I was so excited. I have loved how the writers have handled their relationship
from the very beginning, and they are so adorable together, watching them every week makes me so happy!

Since I started watching the show late, I always knew that a lot of people shipped these two together, and while watching
I was like, yeah they were cute in Zip, Zip, Zip, but I didn't completely appreciate the awesomeness of them until
Sandcastles in the Sand! Now they are one of my biggest ships.

Do I really need to explain this? No, because just watch one episode and you will see it!! It doesn't matter if
you're not a slash!shipper, these two will change your mind.

It's hard to believe that I only started watching the show in February, because I consider Kris/Junior one of my
biggest ships of all time. They are so epic, and I'm sad that it's over. But the last episode was amazing, and
they ended up getting married, just like it should be!

people;

DUH! You guys are awesome, and I love each and every one of you. I seriously don't know what I'd do without eljay...
well I'd probably be less of an anti-social, computer-lovin, crazy fan-girl, but how boring would that be!

With all the Twilight buzz as well as seeing him in Never Back Down, my Cam love couldn't help but be brought
to the surface. He is a very talented actor, not to mention hot! He was one of the best parts of Twilight (he completely
rocked the ballet room scene) and I hope this is just the start of seeing him on the big screen.

She's an amazing actress, absolutely beautiful and just plain adorable. My love for Leighton has gone up a billion times this year.
She is one of the two reasons (Ed Westwick being the other) why I watch Gossip Girl, and I adore her so much!

This man can do no wrong. Seriously, he makes the character of Barney beyond awesome and just when I think it can't
get any better, he goes and stars in Dr. Horrible and makes you fall in love with that character within the first
20 seconds. I've watched loads of appearances that he's been on, and he never makes me fail to laugh all the way
through them. He's definitely one of the best comedy actors out there.

I already had so much love for these two last year, but after having a chance to meet both of them this year (squee!!!),
my love for them has amplified a million times. I took both those pics above and it still feels so unreal.
They are both so pretty and sexy and cute. The fact that they are BFFs in real life makes me all happy and giddy.

My love for these two shot up a mile past everyone else, and you can pretty much blame it on the season one dvd extras.
They are so incredibly funny and goofy and I love them oh so much. Bradley is absolutely hilarious, and Colin is
adorable. I really hope there's lots of awesome extras on the next dvd too because I don't know how i'd be able to last
a year without any Merlin!
